V8Builds presented by AFR

AFR presents V8Builds, a track event held at the legendary Streets of Willow at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, CA. V8Builds is open to all makes and models who have a V8 from factory or have had them swapped into their cars. Many makes and models came out to battle; there were Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Datsun Z's and much more. Watching all of these guys compete amongst each other down the course was exciting to see, even when they had the burn out contest. Overall the event went smoothly, everyone had fun and most importantly no one was hurt. Now lets get on with the coverage!

Before they hit the track, drivers had a meeting to run through some of the rules.

AFR (Air Flow Research) had a display of there Heads that they make here in the good ol' US of A. The quality in their product really shows when just looking at the product and if that doesn't do it for you then they also have their product dynoed. Check out more on their website at www.airflowresearch.com

Moon Eyes always has the coolest stuff. Check out this fuel tank made for drag racing cars.

Don't let the looks of this 240Z fool you. Underneath that bonnet is a very powerful LS swap.

This Mustang was making some fast lap times! Not only does it look nice from the outside but the interior on this one was flawless as well.

Nova's on the starting grid. These two guys were also putting down some really quick passes.

What a sight to see and hearing these guys pass was just awesome.

The last time we saw a Mitsubishi Starion was when we went to Street Neo Classics and it was nowhere close to being as cool as this one. This Starion had a set of CCW Classics, widebodied and of course...a V8.

The Nova Wagon overheated but that didn't stop Black Widow Exhausts from getting back on the track.

An ACR Dodge Viper with the extreme aero package came to race.

The Chevy SS is the coolest American made sedan. It's got everything you want; it's spacious, powerful and rear wheel drive.

Black Widow Exhausts Sonoma put everyones burnouts to shame. It must have done donuts, burnouts and drifted for more than 4 minutes. Haha.

We end our coverage with an SR20 powered Datsun Roadster. Keep in touch with us on FaceBook and on Instagram. Also, check out our video recap down below!
